COLUMBIA, S.C. –
South Carolina hosts its first spring event of 2012, as the Gamecock Spring Bash is set for Saturday in the Volleyball Competition Facility.

The Gamecocks will face Coastal Carolina, Kennesaw State, USC Upstate and Wake Forest in the round-robin event that starts at 10 a.m. South Carolina starts the day against fellow system school USC Upstate at 10 a.m., before facing Wake Forest at 11 a.m. The Gamecocks close out the schedule with matches against Coastal Carolina at 2 p.m. and Kennesaw State at 3 p.m.

All hour-long periods will consist of two sets playing to 25 points each and will be contested on two courts set up at the Volleyball Competition Facility.

All fans who are considering attending the games, be aware that the normal parking on the surface lots between the VCF and Colonial Life Arena will be unavailable. Fans will need to park in the Horizon Parking Garage across Assembly St. from the Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center.
