The Southeastern Conference has announced its men’s tennis conference schedule for the 2013 season. The South Carolina Gamecocks will open league action at home against conference newcomer Texas A&M. That match will be played March 1.
The 12-match round robin conference schedule will feature six contests at home and six on the road. The Gamecocks will host Texas A&M, Florida, Arkansas, LSU, Vanderbilt and Kentucky, and will travel to Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Missouri does not field a men’s tennis squad.
The 2013 schedule is not based on any other previous or future scheduling format. The SEC Athletics Directors are currently formulating scheduling principles for the 2014 season and beyond.
