The Gamecock Club has announced that South Carolina Football head coach Steve Spurrier will appear at the Hartsville Country Club on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, starting at 6 p.m. The trip is a make-up date for the May 23 Fan Fest event at Darlington Raceway that was canceled due to severe weather.

Spurrier will hold the signed ball fundraiser, signing souvenir footballs celebrating the 2011 historic record-setting season for an $80 donation. Signing will start at 6 p.m. followed by Spurrier speaking to the crowd at approximately 7 p.m. Admission to the event is $5; children under age five are free. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
