University of South Carolina men’s golf signee Matt NeSmith will appear on the Golf Channel’s Morning Drive show on Wednesday, July 25. NeSmith is scheduled to appear in the 7 o’clock hour ET.

A native of North Augusta, S.C., NeSmith will join the Gamecocks in the fall after a stellar prep and junior golf career. He is currently the top ranked boys golfer in the AJGA Polo Golf Rankings and No. 14 in the latest world amateur rankings. NeSmith was a three-time All-State selection at North Augusta High School and was a first team AJGA All-American in 2011. He was one of four junior golfers to receive the prestigious Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Award in May.

NeSmith is currently in Orlando, Fla. preparing to compete for the East team in the Wyndham Cup match play tournament, which will take place July 23-26 at Bay Hill.
