South Carolina women’s basketball is set to lead the Reef Division of the 2012 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam at the University of the Virgin Islands Nov. 22-24.

Gamecock fans can purchase tickets to the event either by going to the Paradise Jam website or by downloading and submitting this ticket order form .

This season will mark the Gamecocks’ third participation in the Paradise Jam and the second under head coach Dawn Staley. South Carolina last celebrated its Thanksgiving holiday on St. Thomas in 2009, Staley’s second season at the helm. In that event, the Gamecocks won their final game of the tournament, posting a 58-55 win over then-No. 23 San Diego State for their first win over a ranked team since Staley took the reins of the program prior to the 2008-09 season. South Carolina’s first trip to St. Thomas yielded a 2-1 record at the 2002 Paradise Jam.

The Gamecocks open the regular season with an exhibition on Sun., Nov. 4, against Anderson. Fans can purchase season tickets on the GamecocksOnline.com Ticket Page or by calling 1-800-4SC-FANS. Prices start at $50 for general admission, or a Family Four Pack of tickets is available for $100.
