Gamecock Club Staff Additions and Changes Announced

The Gamecock Club has recently made several staff additions and changes, Athletics Director Ray Tanner announced today.

“I am excited about the changes and new staff within our development operation,” said Athletics Director Ray Tanner. “With a record number of Gamecock Club members and fundraising on the rise, it is critical for us to capture the momentum of our program’s success. I look forward to working with them to connect with and better serve our donors.”

Jeff Crane has been promoted to Senior Associate Athletics Director responsible for oversight of all aspects of development and the Gamecock Club. He joined the department in July 2006 as the Director of Marketing after serving in a similar capacity at TCU.

Elaine Arnold has been hired as Assistant Director of Development. She will assist with major gift fundraising. A 2003 University of South Carolina graduate, Arnold was formerly Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations Manager in the College of Mass Communications and Information Studies at USC.

Kendall Belk has been hired as Communications and Stewardship Coordinator. Belk earned both her bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. She returns to the Gamecock athletics department after serving as Development Coordinator for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Former Gamecock pitcher and team captain for the 2010 National Championship baseball team Jay Brown has been named Assistant Director of the Gamecock Club. Brown earned both an undergraduate and graduate degree from South Carolina.

Steve Eigenbrot has been promoted to Director of Development. Eigenbrot is responsible for fundraising for the department’s Garnet Way Campaign and oversight of the car donor program. Eigenbrot joined the department in July 2010 after a stint at UNLV, where he recently received a PhD.

Jordan Gardner, a 2010 South Carolina graduate, has been promoted to Membership Services Coordinator. Gardner joined the department as an intern in January 2009 and most recently served as a graduate assistant.

Wayne Hiott, a 2011 South Carolina graduate, has been promoted to Assistant Director of the Gamecock Club. Hiott has been with the department since January 2011 when he joined as an intern. He most recently served as Stewardship Coordinator.
