COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina equestrian team slipped three spots in the latest NCEA coaches poll, as the Gamecocks are now ranked fourth, it was announced today.

South Carolina had been ranked No. 1 since November 14, but the Gamecocks have gone 1-3 since then.

The Gamecocks will compete again before the next poll comes out on Feb. 20, as South Carolina will travel to face No. 2 Auburn on Feb. 14.

The collegiate coaches competing under the National Collegiate Equestrian Association umbrella initiated the national poll. The final poll of the fall will be released on Feb. 20.
