THIS WEEK IN GAMECOCK COUNTRY…

While football enjoys a bye weekend, there are several opportunities for fans in Gamecock Country to come root on their Gamecocks this weekend! Defending SEC Champion Equestrian opens the season Friday morning against Kansas State out at One Wood Farm. Volleyball hosts three matches this weekend as part of their Carolina Classic tournament and Men’s Soccer will take on USF and Dartmouth in the Gamecock Classic.

Friday, September 20th

#3 Equestrian vs. #5 Kansas State – 10 a.m. – One Wood Farm
**Home opener
**Team posters available
**Free admission

Volleyball vs. Western Carolina – 7 p.m. – Volleyball Competition Facility
**Neon T-shirt for Flashback Friday winner on Instagram
**UofSC Club Night – the club that brings the most members wins a gift card to the new online store

Men’s Soccer vs. USF – 7 p.m. – Stone Stadium
**Local Heroes Night
**National POW/MIA Recognition Day
**Operation Hat Trick presentation – Gamecock caps given to soldiers. The hats (see picture above right) are available at local retail locations with proceeds going toward injured soldiers and veterans.

Saturday, September 21st

Volleyball vs. Robert Morris – 1 p.m. – Volleyball Competition Facility
**Youth Volleyball Day: all youth who come in jerseys will receive $1 admission
**Free rally towels for the first 200 fans

Volleyball vs. Presbyterian – 7 p.m. – Volleyball Competition Facility
**Student Night – first 200 students get a free t-shirt
**Block party – for each Gamecock block, a randomly selected fan will get a prize

Sunday, September 22nd

Men’s Soccer vs. Dartmouth – 1:30 p.m. – Stone Stadium
