COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina volleyball program has signed Courtney McKeag, Taylr McNeil and Allie Monserez to National Letters of Intent, head coach Scott Swanson announced Friday.

McKeag, McNeil and Monserez join the program with long lists of accomplishments and will look to make an immediate impact for the Gamecocks in 2014.

Swanson on McKeag: “Courtney is an all around athlete that can play middle blocker or either pin position. She has played club volleyball at a high level in Southern California and understands what it takes to compete with top players. Courtney will help raise the level in our gym and will give us more depth at several positions.”

Swanson on McNeil: “Taylr is an accomplished six-rotation outside hitter that has a very complete game for her age. She has the size and power to be a terminating hitter in the SEC as a freshman. Taylr will help our program get better right away as she will be graduating early and joining us in January.”
