Burnett Currently Tied for Eighth in Ladies European Tour

GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Former South Carolina All-American Katie Burnett is currently tied for eighth place after three rounds of the Ladies European Tour Volvik RACV Ladies Masters.
Burnett has a three-round score of 214 (-5) after shooting a 2-over 75 in Saturday’s third round. The fourth and final round is scheduled to begin on Sunday.
A native of Brunswick, Ga., Burnett attended South Carolina from 2008-2012 and wrapped up her Gamecock career as one of the best to ever wear the Garnet and Black. She earned second team All-America honors from both Golfweek and the National Golf Coaches Association after recording a fifth-place finish at the 2012 NCAA Championship, which is the best finish ever by a Gamecock at the event.
