COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina volleyball signees Allie Monserez and Taylr McNeil recently added MaxPreps All-America honors to their lengthy list of high school accomplishments.

Monserez was named a first-team MaxPreps Medium Schools All-American, while McNeil received third-team honors on the MaxPreps All-American Team.

A 5-9 setter, Monserez was named the Florida 5A Player of the Year after leading Bishop Moore to the 2013 Class 5A state title.

McNeil, a 6-2 outside hitter from Eagan, Minn., guided Eagan High School to the Class 3A state title this season. She was named the Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year in December.
