TuLSA, Okla. –

The South Carolina women’s golf team shot a 19-over 299 on Wednesday in the second round of the NCAA Championship at Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. and is currently in 20th place with a total score of 600 (+40).

Oklahoma remains at the top of the leaderboard with a two-round score of 575 (+15). Duke is currently in second place with a score of 587 (+18) and Arizona State rounds out the top three with a score of 580 (+20).

Junior Justine Dreher and sophomore Sarah Schmelzel both shot a 3-over 73 in the second round. Dreher tallied four birdies on the day is currently in 82nd place with a score of 153 (+13). Schmelzel recorded a pair of birdies and finished the round in a tie for 67th place with a score of 151 (+11)

Senior Samantha Swinehart turned in a second-round 6-over 76, giving her a total score of 149 (+9). She finished the day in a tie for 50th place.

Freshman Katelyn Dambaugh concluded the round in a tie for 74th place. She carded a 77 (+7) and has a two-round score of 152 (+12).

Senior Suzie Lee carded a 78 (+8) to round out the lineup. She is currently tied for 82nd place with a two-round score of 153 (+13).

Alexandra Kaui of Oklahoma is currently at the top of the individual leaderboard with a two-round score of 135 (-5). Alyssa Ferrell of Michigan State and Lauren Kim of Stanford are in a tied for second with a score of 138 (-2).

South Carolina is scheduled to tee off at 7:30 a.m CT on Thursday in the third round and will be paired with Virginia and California. Live scoring is available through Golfstat.
