COLUMBIA, S.C. – ESPN announced on Monday the South Carolina men’s basketball contest versus Baylor, set for Nov. 18 in Columbia at Colonial Life Arena, will be televised as part of “ESPN’s 24-Hour College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon,” and will tip at Noon ET on ESPN. The matchup versus the Bears marks the third time the Gamecocks have been part of the Marathon, the first was a 2010 matchup at then-No. 2/2 Michigan State, and last season’s contest at then-No. 23/25 Baylor.
Baylor leads the all-time series with Carolina, 3-2, after a 66-64 victory last season in Waco. The Bears advanced to the Sweet 16 of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, but the squad lost more than half of its offensive production with the graduation of Cory Jefferson, Brady Heslip and Gary Franklin, and the departure of Isaiah Austin.
