COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Gamecock men’s basketball team participated in pre-game festivities at Gamecock Village prior to the Missouri football contest last Saturday, spending time with Carolina fans and signing autographs on the official team poster for the 2014-15 campaign.

Head coach Frank Martin spent time on the pre-game radio show on the Gamecock Radio Network, and team members, along with Coach Martin, signed autographs and spent time with fans at Gamecock Village, before being honored on the field between the first and second quarters of the game. A new men’s basketball hype video was unveiled prior to the on field recognition as well.

South Carolina begins official practice for the 2014-15 season on Oct. 6 with a mid-afternoon practice session. The team begins competition when it hosts Benedict College on Oct. 26 for an exhibition contest at Colonial Life Arena.
