COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley announced today that her team will host “one.FAN-ily Fest” on Mon., Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena. Free for all fans, the event will feature a celebration atmosphere that includes an opportunity for fans to pick up or purchase season tickets, the debut of the 2014-15 team song, team instructional drills and contests, a season preview from Staley and an autograph session exclusively for new and returning season-ticket holders.

The Colonial Life Arena main entrance will open at 6:30 p.m. with 30 minutes for season-ticket holders to pick up their tickets, which feature an exclusive design required for participation in the autograph session, from the team. Please note that the account holder must be present to pick up the tickets. Ticket office staff will be on hand to sell season tickets as well, making this the final opportunity for fans to get season tickets in the exclusively designed format. There will be music to entertain the crowd and a bounce house set up at court level as well.

At 7 p.m., host Brad Muller, the radio voice of Gamecock women’s basketball for the last seven seasons, will start the program, beginning with the debut of this season’s team song. The team will stay on the court for some drills and competitions before Muller and Staley break down the 2014-15 season, including taking questions from fans via Twitter.

At 7:30 p.m., fans are invited to bring their season tickets to the court where the team will autograph the mini-poster included in the new ticket design. To help protect the student-athletes, only these institutionally produced mini-posters are permissible for autographs at this event.

Staley and the Gamecocks open the 2014-15 season with an exhibition game on Sun., Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. against Coker at Colonial Life Arena. The regular-season opener will come nearly two weeks later on Sat., Nov. 15, against Southern Cal.
