Junior setter Kellie McNeil of the South Carolina volleyball team has been named the AgSouth Athlete of the Week after leading the Gamecocks to a 2-1 record last week.

McNeil led Carolina to a 3-1 win over Mississippi State on Friday with a double-double as she recorded a career-high 14 kills while hitting .400 and had 37 assists, six digs and seven blocks. In Sunday’s 3-1 win over defending SEC champion Missouri, McNeil finished with 33 assists, nine digs, four kills and three services aces. The Gamecocks hit .358 as a team, which is their best hitting percentage in SEC play this season. In Carolina’s loss at Coastal Carolina, McNeil recorded a double-double with 15 assists and 10 digs.
