COLUMBIA, S.C. –
After a 3-0 shutout win over Mississippi State on Senior Night last Thursday, South Carolina jumped up three spots to No. 17 in this week’s National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women’s Rankings. The Gamecocks stayed at No. 11 in this week’s Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) report released on Monday.

In the other media polls, the Gamecocks also moved up three spots to No. 21 in TopDrawerSoccer.com and jumped one to No. 24 in Soccer America.

South Carolina opens play in the SEC Tournament in Orange Beach, Ala., on Wednesday. The fifth-seeded Gamecocks are set to play fourth-seeded Missouri in the last quarterfinal of the day tomorrow at approximately 8:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
