POOLER, Ga. — South Carolina senior Blaine Woodruff and junior Sean Kelly are in the hunt for top-10 finishes after grinding through two rounds at the Savannah Quarters Individual Intercollegiate on Monday at Savannah Quarters Country Club.
With one round left to play, Woodruff is tied for 10th with a total of 145 (+1) after shooting rounds of 71 (-1) and 74 (+2). Kelly wrapped up the day in a tie for 13th with a total of 146 (+2) after carding consecutive rounds of 73 (+1). Kennesaw State’s Kelby Burton and USC Beaufort’s Judson Milam share the tournament lead after each posting a 36-hole total of 139 (-5).
Carolina freshman Keenan Huskey is just outside the top 20 in a tie for 25th with a total of 150 (+6) after shooting rounds of 76 and 74.
Gamecock junior Brendan Gramley is tied for 43rd with a total of 159 (+15). Gramley turned in rounds of 80 and 79 on Monday.
Huskey will be the first Gamecock to tee off in the final round on Tuesday at 8 a.m. Kelly will tee off at 8:40, while Woodruff and Gramley are slated to tee off at 8:50. The Savannah Quarters Individual Intercollegiate is not a team tournament and only has an individual champion. Live scoring is not available for this event.
