POOLER, Ga. — South Carolina junior Sean Kelly and senior Blaine Woodruff finished in the top 20 at the Savannah Quarters Individual Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Savannah Quarters Country Club.
Kelly recorded his third-straight round of 73 (+1) to move five spots up the leaderboard into a tie for eighth with a 54-hole total of 219 (+3). Woodruff carded a final-round 79 (+7) to finish in a tie for 16th with a total of 224 (+8).
Gamecock freshman Keenan Huskey just missed a top-20 finish as he tied for 21st with a total of 226 (+10) after shooting a final-round 76 (+4).
Junior Brendan Gramley finished 46th with a total of 242 (+26) after turning in an 83 on Tuesday.
Kennesaw State’s Kelby Burton won the tournament title with a total of 210 (-6).
The Gamecocks will play in their first team event of the spring on Feb. 20-22 at the Bayou City Collegiate Championships. The 54-hole event will be held at The Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
