COLUMBIA, S.C. – The schedule for the 2015 Women’s Final Four at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., has been finalized. No. 3/4 South Carolina will face No. 2/2 Notre Dame in Sunday’s first national semifinal at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN. The second semifinal pitting No. 1/1 Connecticut against No. 4/3 Maryland begins approximately 30 minutes after. Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in events to celebrate women’s basketball in the days leading up to the Women’s Final Four games on Sunday evening.

South Carolina fans are encouraged to gather at the Gamecock Club fan headquarters, Hattricks Tavern (107 S Franklin St., Tampa, Fla. 33602), starting at 2 p.m. before Sunday’s game vs. the Irish.

The official kickoff of the Women’s Final Four weekend for fans, coaches, NCAA VIPs, local and national media and the Tampa Bay Community. FAN-sparilla features food trucks, local entertainment, a viewing of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship highlight video, a 360° waterfront bar and a fireworks show.

NCAA Tourney Town
When: Sat., April 4 (8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.) | Sun., April 5 (11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) | Tues., April 7 (4 – 8:30 p.m.)
Where: Beside the arena in the Amalie Arena West Plaza and Silver Parking Lot
FREE admission

NCAA Tourney Town is a fan festival celebrating the best in women’s college basketball during the 2015 Women’s Final Four. The event features fan favorites like the NCAA Women’s Final Four Pep Rally, AT&T Mascot Challenge, the Battle of the Final Four Bands and pre-game concerts featuring the best local acts. Tourney Town also boasts an interactive area with basketball games and drills, other NCAA sport interactive activities, fan contests, appearances and autograph sessions with women’s basketball greats along with entertainment and giveaways. A new addition in 2015 is the Lifestyle Lounge that is set to feature local chef demos, photo and video booths in addition to other activities celebrating the culture of women’s basketball.

Super Saturday
When: Sat., April 4 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; doors open at nine)
Where: Amalie Arena
FREE admission

The day before the Women’s Final Four begins, fans will have the opportunity to get close to the action and the participating teams on Super Saturday. The event at the Amalie Arena includes open practices and team autograph sessions with all four participating teams, the WBCA Coaches’ All-America Team announcement and more.

The Gamecocks will conduct their autograph session on the Section 104 Concourse from 10:50-11:20 a.m. before taking the court for an open practice at 12:10 p.m. The WBCA All-Americans will be announced on-court at 1:10 p.m.

4Kay 5K and Fun Run
When: Sat. April 4 (Race Day Registration from 6:30 – 8 a.m. | Race at 8 a.m.)
Where: Amalie Arena West Plaza
Pre-Registration: $30 | Race Day Registration: $35 | “Team Yow” VIP Package available

Since 2008, the 4Kay 5K and Fun Run has been held in honor of the late N.C. State head women’s basketball coach Kay Yow who lost her battle with breast cancer. The 5K (3.1 mile and 1-mile run/walk will give participants a opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery along Bayshore Boulevard. All proceeds benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, an organization committed to the fight against women’s cancers by raising funds for scientific research, assisting the under-served and unifying people for a common cause.

Bounce by the Bay
When: Sat., April 4 (1:30 p.m.)
Where: Tourney Town
FREE admission (participants 18 and under)

Bounce by the Bay features several thousand youth dribbling their way through downtown Tampa Bay. Pre-registration is encouraged, however, limited on-site registration (beginning at 11:30 a.m.) will be available at the Amalie Arena’s Ticket Office. The route begins and ends at Tourney Town. Participants (youth 18 and under) receive a t-shirt and basketball.
