COLUMBIA, S.C — The South Carolina men’s golf team remained at No. 6 in the Golfstat Relative Rankings for a fourth-straight week, Golfstat announced Wednesday.

With just five days until NCAA Regional pairings are announced, the Gamecocks stay in the running for one of six No. 1 seeds. The NCAA Selection Show is scheduled for Monday, May 4 at 10 a.m. and will air live on the Golf Channel’s Morning Drive.

Carolina has won a school-record five tournament titles this season and has matched the school record for most top-five finishes in a single season with nine.

Including the Gamecocks, a total of five SEC teams are ranked in the top 25. Vanderbilt is No. 5, followed by Carolina (No. 6), LSU (No. 7), Auburn (No. 15) and Alabama (No. 21).

Carolina will be making its 23rd NCAA Regional appearance overall and its 19th in the last 20 seasons. This year’s NCAA Regional sites are Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash., The Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn., The Farms Golf Club in San Diego, Calif., The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas, The Sagemore Club in Noblesville, Ind., and UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C.
