COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina sand volleyball program has added Delaney Wood to its 2015 signing class, head coach Moritz Moritz announced Tuesday.

Wood, a native of Westlake, Texas, joins early signees Katie Cross, Aubrey Ezell and Shannon Williams to make up the signing class.

“We are very excited for Delaney to join the Carolina sand program,” Moritz said. “She is a hard worker and a very dedicated student-athlete with a good amount of beach experience competing against a lot of the top juniors talent across the country. She continues to work hard and improve and will be a great addition to our team.”

• Four-year letter winner in indoor volleyball at Westlake Academy for coach Tokunbo Faleti

• Team MVP (2011, 2012)
• Helped lead Westlake Academy to the 2014 Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship Division I state title
• Also lettered one year in tennis at Westlake Academy
