Spurs & Feathers: South Carolina invests in the student-athlete experience

The mission for University of South Carolina athletics is pretty simple: Gamecock athletics develops our student-athletes intellectually, athletically, socially and culturally to compete relentlessly for championships and to attain high levels of achievement at the University and throughout life in harmony with our University’s vision.
That simple mission statement is pretty profound in itself, but at South Carolina the actions speak louder than words.
South Carolina is utilizing its money for the most part to enhance the student-athlete experience with 93 percent of everything South Carolina athletics does being put towards this endeavor.
