COLUMBIA, S.C. – University of South Carolina equestrian coach Boo Major on Friday announced the signing of hunt seat rider Hanna Powers (Potomac Falls, Va./The Madeira School) to a National Letter of Intent to join the Gamecocks for the 2015-16 season.

“Hanna is a go-getter and someone who has been very successful in the show ring,” Major said. “She’ll be able to help us out over fences and on the flat, and I think she’s going to have the opportunity to make an impact on this team.”

Powers trains with Marylisa Leffler and Patty Foster.
