Purchase Season Tickets/Purchase Gamecocks Pass
COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” University of South Carolina Athletics has partnered with Experience (expapp.com), the fan experience technology company, to introduce the all-new Gamecocks Pass, a mobile subscription season ticket. Gamecocks Pass is enabled through Experience’s mobile technology and is a subscription-based ticket that is 100-percent mobile and gives Gamecock fans access to the best available unsold seats in Colonial Life Arena for every Carolina home game.
“The way people are consuming sports is changing rapidly, and we are testing the market with a fun and innovative product,” associate athletics director for marketing Eric Nichols said. “This is also an affordable and fun way to catch all of South Carolina’s home games this season.”
The Gamecocks Pass is on sale now and can be purchased for $50 per season ticket, however there are only 500 available for the season. Patrons are able to buy up to eight passes, so they are able to sit with family and friends at the games. On the South Carolina Gameday app, there will be a new section for “Men’s Basketball Mobile Pass,” which will have barcodes for each game. The morning of the game, Pass holders will receive their seat location(s). The seat location alert will arrive via text message and patrons then accept the seats within the app to indicate they will be attending the game. The Pass includes admission to all regular season games, but seats will be different for each game, with some of the games having lower level seat locations.
“The University of South Carolina is giving fans the ultimate opportunity to access this season of men’s basketball with the Pass offering, which is mobile, flexible and a great value for fans,” stated Experience President Ben Ackerman. “Pass, in combination with the awesome experiences and seat upgrades, really lets Gamecock fans tailor their viewing experience for each game.”
Season ticket prices for the upcoming season remain unchanged, with full season packages starting at $90. Like last season, fans can purchase lower level season tickets for $260 (Gamecock Club membership required for sections 104-106, 113-115), the Coke Family Sections are available for $600 (four tickets) and upper level tickets are available for $200 (no Gamecock Club membership required). End zone seating in the upper level is priced at four seats for $360. University Faculty/Staff members receive a 20% discount on lower level and upper level ticket prices. The Gamecocks Pass, a mobile subscription season ticket, is also available for $50.
