COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina head women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley announced that Mikiah Harrigan (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University and play for the Gamecocks. Harrigan will have four years of eligibility beginning with the 2016-17 academic year.

“We are so pleased to have Kiki join our Gamecock family,” Staley said. “Her athleticism, speed, perimeter shooting and competitiveness will have an immediate impact on our team and our pursuit of a national championship.”

Ranked the No. 12 forward in the class, Harrigan stands 6-foot-2 and averaged 15.7 points and 9.1 rebounds as a junior at Flanagan High. She was a Florida Association of Basketball Coaches (FABC) Class 8A All-State first-team selection.

Harrigan is the second signee for Staley’s 2015 class, joining Hyde Park, Mass., product Araion Bradshaw.
