COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” South Carolina women’s basketball senior guard/forward Asia Dozier is listed as day-to-day following an injury to her right hand suffered in the No. 2Gamecocks’ 70-63 win at then-No. 10/10 Texas A&M Sunday night. The Columbia, S.C., native will return to practice as her pain allows.

A starter in 11 games this season, including all nine SEC contests this season, Dozier is a two-time team captain averaging 16.5 minutes per game this season. Her 3.2 points per game have often been timely for the Gamecocks as has her ability to step up with a big defensive play throughout her career.

South Carolina returns to the court on Thu., Feb. 4, to host No. 18 Kentucky at Colonial Life Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. with the game airing on SEC Network.
