EMERSON, GA. — After a tough loss to Florida State in the semifinals, the South Carolina beach volleyball team ends their time at the CCSA Conference Tournament at the Lakepoint Sporting Commmunity in Emerson, Ga.

South Carolina went 2-3 on the weekend, defeating UAB and No. 10 Florida International but falling to No. 9 Georgia State and No. 3 Florida State, twice.

The Gamecocks finish their season at 20-16 overall. This year’s team will go down in history for defeating a top-ten team for the first-time ever in the beach volleyball program era and for the first-ever 20-win season.
