Gamecock Beach Volleyball Adds Sorensen to 2016 Roster

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina beach volleyball coach Moritz Moritz announced the addition of Hannah Sorensen to the Gamecocks’ 2016 roster on Wednesday.
“We are excited for Hannah to join our program,” said Moritz. “She comes in with experience and will add to the depth and competitiveness of our team immediately. The steady improvement of this team is paramount. We believe with our incoming and current student-athletes that we will continue to lay a sturdy foundation and develop a progressive legacy for the future. It is an amazing opportunity to be part of this sport and to work to get better each moment.”
Sorensen, a native of Wilmington, N.C. and graduate of Mercer University, will join eight other newcomers in the fall, including Adrianna Culbert, Alison Denney, Frances Harrison, Carly Schnieder, Katie Smith, Sarah Nacouzi, Caroline Skaff and Hannah Edelman.
