COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina equestrian team may be in the midst of a bye week, but head coach Boo Major’s team is still hard at work.
Take a look as Major stops by to discuss her team’s off week, last week’s win over No. 2 Georgia and the upcoming home meet against New Mexico State.
South Carolina (2-1, 1-1 SEC) sits at No. 8 in the latest NCEA national poll. Each of the team’s first three matches have come against NCEA top-five opponents, while eight of the last nine regular-season meets feature top-10 competition.

The Gamecocks host No. 10 New Mexico State on Friday, Oct. 21 at One Wood Farm, located at 1201 Syrup Mill Rd., in Blythewood. The meet is the last of a five-event home stand to open the season and begins at 2 p.m. ET.
