Basketball Exhibition Game Changes

COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley announced today that her team’s exhibition game against Benedict is being moved from Mon., Nov. 7, to Sun., Nov. 6, at 1:30 p.m. The change creates a Colonial Life Arena men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Sunday with the men’s team, originally set to host its exhibition versus Newberry at 4 p.m., now tipping at 4:30 p.m. against the Wolves. Admission to both games is free.

South Carolina men’s basketball officially opens its 2016-17 season on Fri., Nov. 11, with Louisiana Tech in a 6:30 p.m. tipoff at Colonial Life Arena. The women’s team begins the season on the road at Ohio State on Mon., Nov. 14,
