Parking Information for South Carolina Basketball at Colonial Life Arena

COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” The South Carolina men’s and women’s basketball seasons at Colonial Life Arena will begin with exhibition games on Sun., Nov. 6, and the Gamecock Athletics Department wants fans to pay special attention to parking information for the upcoming campaign.

With excitement for both teams as well as the various construction projects near the arena corridor, below are important tips for fans attending Carolina basketball games this season:

• RIDE THE SHUTTLE! Free parking is available in the Pendleton Street Garage and a shuttle will run beginning two hours prior to tipoff and for one hour following the conclusion of the game. The round-trip shuttle ride costs $3.
• Parking Lot A, the Discovery Garage via Park Street, and the DOT Garage are restricted to Gamecock Club members with the appropriate parking hang tag.
• Parking Lot B, the Discovery Garage and the Convention Center parking lot are available for $10 per vehicle.
• Most parking lots open two hours prior to tipoff. The DOT garage opens at 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
• City Garage parking, located near Pendleton, Park and Lincoln streets, is available for $10 per car.

Following this weekend’s exhibition game, South Carolina men’s basketball officially opens its 2016-17 season on Fri., Nov. 11, with Louisiana Tech in a 6:30 p.m. tipoff at Colonial Life Arena. The women’s team begins the season on the road at Ohio State on Mon., Nov. 14,
