Quoting Coach Josh Goffi
“I’m really happy about the day. Old Dominion is a very good team and they’re going to continue to have a great season. I was really impressed with the resilience our team showed today. The momentum went back and forth a few times within the match against Old Dominion and we stayed steady the entire time as far as the belief in what we were doing and the focus on the fundamentals. That was our goal on the day and I felt we were able to accomplish in five of the six singles. I think we were still short in one, but our goal is to bring all six throughout season and we’re still working towards that. It was great to consolidate and get a couple other guys a few looks moving into the SC State match, getting Jubb up top and seeing what he can do and getting Wood a match. I’m proud of both of those guys for stepping in that’s a tough situation, so I’m happy for them.”
