COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s golf will now begin play at the 2017 Bryan National Collegiate on Saturday morning after Friday’s opening round was suspended due to unplayable conditions as a result of inclement weather.

The No. 11 Gamecocks and the rest of the 18-team field will play 36 holes at the Bryan Park Golf Course in Browns Summit, N.C., tomorrow before wrapping up the tournament Sunday. Saturday’s action will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET. Carolina, which has earned runner-up honors in each of its last two appearances at the event, enters the weekend in search of its fifth-straight top-five finish.
