Women's Soccer Reveals 2017 Promotional Schedule

COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” South Carolina women’s soccer unveiled its promotional schedule for the 2017 season, announcing different themes for each home match.

The Gamecocks’ first promotion will be this Sunday (Aug. 27) against High Point, when the team holds National Just Because Day. All fans will receive $1 admission, just because. Carolina will host Take a Kid to the Game night on Fri., Sept. 15, when it faces Alabama in its SEC opener. All fans will receive a free youth ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket at the gate.

Other promotions this season include Gamecock Club Appreciation (Sept. 10), First Responders Appreciation (Sept. 24), World Teachers Day (Oct. 5) and a Pink Out on Oct. 15. Carolina’s final home regular-season match against Georgia (Oct. 22) will be Senior Night, as this year’s senior class will be honored for their contributions to the program.

During each of Carolina’s home games, fans will have the opportunity to catch free t-shirts following Gamecock goals. The 10-Minute Takedown Challenge will also take place, and one lucky fan registered at the marketing table will win a prize pack if Carolina scores a goal in the final 10 minutes of the first half.
