Men's Soccer Announces 2017 Promotional Schedule

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina men’s soccer team unveiled its promotion schedule for the upcoming 2017 campaign, with different themes for all 10 regular-season matches at Stone Stadium.
This season, the Gamecocks will help raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer throughout the month of September. Carolina will kick off their month of awareness on Tuesday, September 5 when they take on North Florida. The Gamecocks will close out their month of awareness on Friday, September 22 when they take on New Mexico as part of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Night. All fans that wear teal will receive $1 admission and the first 1,000 fans will receive a pair of teal thunder sticks.
The team is also excited to announce two new season long promotions. At all weekday games (Monday-Thursday), fans that show their business card will receive $1 admission at the gate. Carolina will host Military Appreciation Saturdays. On all Saturday matches, military members and their families will receive free admission with a special military recognition scheduled for Saturday, October 14 vs. FIU.
During each match, fans will have the opportunity to catch free t-shirts following Gamecock goals. In addition, the Ten-Minute Takedown challenge will take place at each home match. If South Carolina scores a goal in the final 10 minutes of the first half, one lucky fan who registered at the marketing table will win a Gamecock prize pack.
