Gamecocks to Play Six SEC Games on ESPN Channels

COLUMBIA, S .C. — Reigning national champion South Carolina women’s basketball will play six of its 16 SEC regular-season games on either ESPN2 or ESPNU this season, the SEC office announced today. Six other league games will be on SEC Network with the remaining four outings on SEC Network+ via the WatchESPN app. The Gamecocks’ full non-conference TV schedule will be released at a later date, but ESPN did announce that South Carolina’s Feb. 1 game against UConn will tip off at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
Two of the six SEC games on the ESPN family of networks will be at Colonial Life Arena as the three-time reigning attendance champion Gamecock fans will get to show off their gameday fervor on Sun., Jan. 14, against Tennessee (ESPN2, 1 p.m.) and Sun., Jan. 28, against Missouri (ESPN2, 6 p.m.). South Carolina’s other league ESPN games will be at Missouri (ESPN2, Sun., Jan. 7, 2 p.m. ET), at Kentucky (ESPNU, Sun., Jan. 21, Noon), at Mississippi State (ESPN2, Mon., Feb. 5, 7 p.m. ET) and at Tennessee (ESPNU or ESPN2, Sun., Feb. 25, noon or 4 p.m.).
SEC Network will air the Gamecocks’ SEC opener against Texas A&M (Sun., Dec. 31, 2 p.m.) as well as games against Arkansas (Thu., Jan. 25, 6:30 p.m., at Alabama (Thu., Feb. 8, 7 p.m. ET), against Florida (Sun., Feb. 11, 1 p.m.), against Kentucky (Sun., Feb. 18, 3 p.m.) and against LSU (Thu., Feb. 22, 6:30 p.m.).
All games of the SEC Tournament will be broadcast from Nashville. The first three days of games will air on SEC Network with ESPNU showing the semifinals on Sat., Mar. 3, and ESPN2 picking up Sunday’s final at 4:30 p.m. ET.
