Gamecocks To Raffle Off Carolina Sports Items At Sunday's Home Finale

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s soccer fans have an opportunity to win Gamecock Athletics memorabilia, which will be raffled off at Sunday’s home finale against Georgia at Stone Stadium.

Fans can enter their names into the raffle for the prizes by stopping by the marketing tables on the concourse and showing they follow women’s soccer (@GamecockWSoccer) on Twitter. The Gamecocks, who recently reached 8,000 followers, have set a goal to break into the top 10 nationally among college women’s soccer accounts on the social media site.

Sunday’s prizes feature basketballs signed by Frank Martin and Dawn Staley, a College World Series worn baseball helmet signed by Mark Kingston and a signed football by Will Muschamp. Other items include an NCAA Women’s Final Four hat signed by Staley and a Gamecock Under Armour soccer ball signed by Shelley Smith.

Kickoff against the Bulldogs is set for 6 p.m. ET, and the match can be seen on SEC Network+. Carolina will clinch at least a share of the SEC Regular-Season Title with a win Sunday.

It will be Senior Night for the Gamecocks, who will honor seven student-athletes before the game.
