Golf Announces 2018 Fall Schedule

2018 Schedule

Columbia – The University of South Carolina women’s golf team officially announced their fall schedule today. The Gamecocks will compete in four tournaments ranging from September to October in three different states. 
 
They will begin when they travel to Minnesota for the Annika Intercollegiate. The Lake Elmo, Minnesota tournament will be three rounds starting on September 17 until September 19. This will be the fourth straight season the Gamecocks will compete in the Minnesota based tournament. Last season, Carolina finished sixth when the tournament took place in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. 
 
A week and a half later the Gamecocks will return to the Midwest to Chicago, Illinois. That will be the place of the Windy City Invitational that begins on October 1 and will be just two rounds, ending on October 2. 
 
Eight days later the Garnet and Black travel north to Chapel Hill to compete in the Ruth Chris Tarheel Invitational. The three-round tournament is schedule to take place from October 12 until October 14. This will mark the eighth straight season the Gamecocks have taken part in this tournament. Last season, the team would finish third of 18 teams. 
 
The Landfall Tradition will conclude the Fall schedule for the Gamecocks. The tournament will take place in Wilmington, N.C. and will begin on October 26 and will end on October 28, with a total of three rounds. Along with the Tarheel Invitational, this will also be the eighth straight year the Gamecocks have competed in Wilmington at the Landfall Tradition.
