The NO-PARKING zones will be enforced by a combination of parking enforcement officers, City of Columbia Police Officers, and Richland County Deputies. If your vehicle is towed from one of these areas please check with the agency responsible for enforcement in the area your vehicle was parked for information about retrieving your vehicle.

SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Shuttle service is available from the Pendleton Street Garage to the Colonial Life Arena. Shuttle service begins two hours prior to tip-off of all men’s and women’s basketball conference and non-conference games and ends one hour following the game. Parking is free in the garage and the shuttle ride round-trip is $3. View the shuttle map for more information.

With a high level of interest and excitement surrounding both the University of South Carolina men’s and women’s basketball programs, along with new construction projects around the Colonial Life Arena, the Carolina Coliseum and the Koger Center, fans attending a Gamecocks’ basketball game should plan accordingly to ensure not missing any of the action:

  1. Fans are encouraged to arrive at least one hour prior to tip off in anticipation of traffic congestion around the arena and longer lines at both the ticket windows and scanning lines.
  2. Due to construction, various streets in the area may be closed from time to time.
  3. For men’s and women’s basketball games, parking in Lot A and Lot B is restricted to Gamecock Club members with the appropriate parking hang tag. Gamecock Club members with the appropriate parking hang tag can park in the 650 Lincoln Garage and the 650 Greene Street Garage. Gamecock Club members with the mobile Discovery Garage pass or the print-at-home paper pass are restricted to the Discovery Garage. The Discovery Garage and the Convention Center parking lots are available for $10 per vehicle, as is the City Garage.
  4. City Garage parking, located near Pendleton, Park and Lincoln streets, is available for $10 for both the men’s and women’s basketball games.

Most parking lots open two hours prior to tip-off. Please check gamecocksonline.com for game schedule and times.

Suite holders will park in Lot A.

Media members with press parking should park in Lot A. In most cases, they should enter Lot A off Gadsden Street.

Because of pedestrian safety, beginning approximately 30-60 minutes prior to game time, the block of Greene Street bounded by Lincoln Street and Gadsden Street will be closed to all traffic. This block becomes a pedestrian walkway for fans entering the arena. The corner of Lincoln and Greene streets is patrolled by officers who help the foot traffic crossing the intersection. Traffic is routed south on Lincoln to Devine Street where vehicles can enter Parking Lots A and B off of Devine Street. After these lots fill up attendants will direct Gamecock Club members to the best available remaining parking.

For approximately 20 to 30 minutes following the game, Greene Street is again blocked off between Lincoln and Gadsden for the pedestrians leaving the arena. The intersection of Lincoln and Greene is manned by officers to help with the pedestrian crossing. Parking Lot A will exit onto Devine Street and Gadsden Street until the pedestrian traffic subsides on Greene and Lincoln streets. Also during the post-game period, Lincoln Street between College and Devine is closed to vehicular traffic so that pedestrians may exit the arena area. Thru traffic on Greene Street westbound is prohibited at Park Street and Greene Street because of pedestrian flow.

Information on the bus shuttle for basketball will be available closer to the SEC basketball games. Parking is free in the garage and the shuttle ride round-trip is $3.00.

For GPS purposes, the address of the baseball stadium is:

Carolina Stadium
431 Williams St. (Tanner Way)
Columbia, SC 29201

If you purchased a season parking pass you will be parking in the parking lot that corresponds to the parking lot number and address with which it is associated (Note: while there are reserved parking lots, there are NOT reserved numbered parking spaces in them). If you do not have a parking pass you should consider taking the baseball shuttle from Key Road. There is also parking at Colonial Life Arena Lot B, however, parking will be limited to 50 to 75 spaces because of the student demand for parking in this area.

If you are looking for game day parking, the lots cost $10.00/$5.00. Please review the Gamecock Baseball Parking Map.

Entrance into Williams St. (Tanner Way), Wheat St. and Catawba St. is by permit only. You must have a Hang tag to access the various parking lots and or a window decal for Granby Mill Village or the Rapid Apartments.

When traveling near the Carolina Baseball Stadium please be advised that pedestrian safety is of the utmost importance and that traffic will be halted for pedestrians and their safety. Before and after the game, pedestrians will have the right of way at the intersection of Wheat and Williams (Tanner Way) Sts. and at Williams (Tanner Way) and Catawba Sts. Your cooperation is most appreciated.
