Preseason Practice Underway For Gamecock Men's Basketball
Carolina began the 2018-19 preseason on Tuesday.
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Preseason practice for the 2018-19 season of South Carolina men’s basketball began on Tuesday, Sept. 25, as seventh-year head coach Frank Martin led his squad through a two-and-a-half hour session during the afternoon at the Carolina Coliseum practice facility. The Gamecocks are working towards their Oct. 26 free exhibition contest against Augusta University, before officially opening the campaign on Nov. 6 against USC Upstate.
Fans also have the opportunity to meet the team at the free admission Oct. 5 Gamecock Tipoff, which is being held at Colonial Life Arena and is a joint event with Gamecock women’s basketball. More information, including event details and gate opening times, can be found at the link above.
Season tickets remain on sale for the upcoming season. Prices remain unchanged, with full season packages starting for as low as $69 for the popular Mobile Pass season ticket. Like the past few seasons, fans can purchase lower level season tickets for $260 (Gamecock Club membership required for sections 104-106, 113-115), the Coke Family Sections are available for $600 (four tickets) and upper level tickets are available (no Gamecock Club membership required) for $90 in the baseline value sections, and $200 in other sections. University Faculty/Staff members receive a 20% discount on lower level and upper level ticket prices.
