Gamecocks Announce Student Guest Ticketing Specials

The University of South Carolina Athletics Department and Student Ticketing announced today (Tuesday, Nov. 20) that students will be able to take advantage of special guest ticketing options for the Dec. 1 football game vs. Akron and the five men’s and women’s basketball games in December that occur during winter break.
 
Beginning today, students will be able to request their student ticket for the football game vs. Akron. Additionally, students will be able to purchase one (1) additional guest ticket for the game for $15. Those students wishing to purchase a guest ticket will be provided a seat location, not in the student section, for both themselves and their guest. 
 
Using the Gamecock Student Rewards App, students will be able to log into the ticketing portal, where they will see the regular “Student Request” and a new line “Student + Guest Upper Request.” Students wishing to sit in the student section should complete the process like normal by clicking on “Student Request.” Students that would like to bring a guest to the game should click on “Student + Guest Upper Request.” On Wednesday during the Claim Period, students will be able to go in and purchase their additional guest ticket. Students that submit a request for the “Student + Guest Upper Request.” section will receive a seat outside of the student section even if they decide to no longer bring a guest. All guest ticket purchases are final and refunds will not be issued.
 
In addition to the student guest ticketing special for the Akron football game, the Athletics Department and Student Ticketing announced specials for the five men’s and women’s basketball games in December that occur during winter break. For the below games, students will be able to purchase up to four (4) guest tickets instead of the one (1) guest ticket that is currently allowed. Additionally, guest tickets for these games will be discounted by $2. Men’s basketball guest tickets will be $6 and women’s basketball tickets will be $3 for the below games. 
 
12/19 – Men’s Basketball vs. No. 4 Virginia
12/21 – Women’s Basketball vs. Temple
12/22 – Men’s Basketball vs. No. 16 Clemson
12/30 – Women’s Basketball vs. Furman
12/31 – Men’s Basketball vs. North Greenville
 
Guest tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are based on availability for each game. The guest ticket will allow the student’s guest to sit in the student section at basketball. The tickets are fully integrated into the Gamecock Student Rewards App and the Gamecock App.
