WATCH: Basketball Is a Lifelong Journey for Bianca Jackson

South Carolina women’s basketball sophomore guard Bianca Jackson’s basketball career started early – her parents Lewis Jackson and Freda Freeman-Jackson are the head coaches of Alabama State’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, respectively. Bianca was on the court early, raised by the community around those teams and had plenty of guidance in choosing South Carolina from parents as well-versed in the recruiting process as any. The Gamecocks opened their 2018-19 season at Alabama State, giving fans an inside look at the family reunion and what being back together in that arena meant to the entire Jackson family.
