Gamecock GO Pass Proves to be a Great Value for Fans
South Carolina’s GO Pass is labeled as a new way to think about tickets, and so far, Gamecocks fans seem to like this way of thinking.
“I would recommend it to someone who likes to be active and engaged in college sports,” said David Spivey of Elgin, S.C. “I feel like this is something to get families out and unplugged from the house. My son mentioned it to me, said he thought that it would be good for us, and his birthday was around the corner, so I bought two GO Passes.”
“My family and I are Gamecock fans. We lived in China for four years, so we followed the Gamecocks from afar,” said Jeff Haley of Lexington, S.C. “Once we came back, we thought it would be cool to start going to a lot of Gamecock games. I heard the commercials on the radio, and thought it was a good idea. Number one, we’re Gamecock fans, but also because it’s cost-effective and it creates memories. I took my youngest son to the (football) game on Saturday, and it just brought back memories of when I was 13 years old, and I was there with my dad. It’s about making those connections.”
In short, the GO Pass allows fans to attend what they want, when they want, with unlimited access to every regular season home game including football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and volleyball for only $25 per month.*
“The main reason we bought it was to have access to football, basketball and baseball, but having access to the other sports is an added benefit.”

The GO Pass is an all-sport subscription-based plan similar to popular online streaming services that allows fans to attend an unlimited number of home games across all sports for only $25 per month with a 12-month commitment. The mobile-only pass also has a “sit with your friends” feature and will assign seats prior to the game with those seat locations changing each game.
“We chose the GO Pass thinking more about basketball and baseball,” said Lindsay Hummers of Lexington, S.C., who has purchased four Go Passes. “We can’t go to enough games to justify buying season tickets, so this seemed like the perfect option for us. Also, we have a toddler who cannot always make a whole game. With the unpredictability of a toddler, it’s nice to know if we go to a game like baseball that’s so long and cannot stay the whole time, we haven’t wasted money.
“So far, it’s been great. We have been to two football games and one women’s soccer game. We definitely plan to use it for baseball, basketball and women’s tennis matches.”
“So far, I have been to two women’s soccer games and volleyball,” Spivey said. “I know nothing about soccer or volleyball, but I absolutely had a great time. I am planning on hitting as many games as I can. I am recently divorced, and this is a great way to do things with my son and gives us a lot of options to spend time with each other.”
The online system is user-friendly and makes it easy to get to games without long-range planning.
“It’s been easy to use so far,” Hummers said. “My husband and I both have the app and have been able to access tickets with no problems. Also, I was able to transfer a ticket to a friend with no problem.
“Overall, we are thrilled with the pass and have recommended it to others.”
“You have the added benefit of being reminded that there’s more than just football,” Haley said. “I had been to maybe one volleyball game before this, and my son and I went on Friday night, and my wife and other son went on Sunday. Anything Gamecocks, my sons want to do. The main reason we bought it was to have access to football, basketball and baseball, but having access to the other sports is an added benefit. My wife loves women’s basketball, and I could see us using it again for volleyball or soccer.”
