Pair of Gamecocks Selected to ITA Fall National Championships

COLUMBIA, S.C.— Gamecock sophomores Daniel Rodrigues and Raphael Lambling each received an at-large bid to the 2019 Oracle ITA Fall National Championships in Newport Beach, Calif., the organization announced Friday afternoon. The tournament will take place Nov. 6-10.
 
No. 35-ranked Rodrigues enters the tournament at 8-2 in singles, while No. 110-ranked Lambling comes in at 8-3. In their last time out, the sophomores both reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Carolina Regional.
 
The ITA Fall National Championship serves as the culminating event of the fall portion of the collegiate tennis season. The national tournament features 128 of the nation’s top collegiate singles players (64 men and 64 women) and 64 doubles teams (32 men’s teams and 32 women’s teams).
