Go in Fourth After First Round at 2019 Southeast Asia Games
Tarlac City, Philippines – South Carolina senior Lois Kay Go in fourth place after the first round of play at the 2019 Southeast Asia Games.
Go, a native of the Philippines, shot a 1-over in the opening round at the Luisita Golf and Country Club on Wednesday. Facing some of the best competitors in world, including the world’s top ranked amateur Atthaya Thitikul, Go is only three shots behind the leader heading into the second round.
The 2019 Southeast Asia Games is the 30th iteration of the of the Southeast Asia Games, a biennial regional multi-sport event where athletes from the 11 counties of Southeast Asia come together to compete.
Round two of the competition will get underway Thursday in the Philippines.
