Senior Spotlight: Bailey Imbus
Bailey Imbus has been a calming presence over the team for the last four years and her devotion to the team has made her beloved in Columbia.
“She’s the last of our string of ‘Bailey’s,’ the caring reliable one,” head coach Boo Major said. “We have thoroughly enjoyed having South Carolina native Bailey as part of our team. Not only is she a talented rider but her calm demeanor and willingness to help in any way make her a favorite amongst her teammates. She has constantly led by example and is always willing to show her teammates the correct way to do things.”
Imbus made a short journey to join the Gamecocks coming in from Charleston. She earned the first point of her career with a 74-43 flat win against Converse as a sophomore and took another flat point as a junior with a 72-70 win against her Liberty opponent. Earlier this season Imbus knocked off Oklahoma State’s Amanda Atkins for a 74-72 flat win in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Imbus is a marketing major set to graduate this spring.
