Amihere Named to SEC Community Service Team

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina freshman Laeticia Amihere was named to the 2020 SEC Women’s Basketball Community Service Team, the league office announced today.
 
In her first full season with the Gamecocks, Amihere has become a great ambassador for the team with her ability to connect with everyone she meets. She helped deliver teddy bears to Children’s Hospital at Christmas and inspired young girls at a basketball clinic during the team’s Thanksgiving trip to St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., for the Paradise Jam. Amihere also joined the team at a visit to a women’s facility within the South Caroina Department of Corrections.
 
The No. 1/1 Gamecocks are back on the court Thu., Feb. 27, at Florida. South Carolina’s last regular-season road game will tip off at 6 p.m. and stream live on SEC Network+.
