Gamecocks Add Nicole Cee to 2020 Signing Class
Columbia, S.C. – The South Carolina women’s golf team added one final piece to its 2020 signing class with the addition of Nicole Cee, the team announced on Tuesday.
“I’m very excited to welcome Nicole to the Gamecock golf family,” head coach Kalen Anderson said. “Nicole is an athletic and conscientious individual. Her skill set annd work ethic is a great match for developing within our program.”
Cee, a Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. native, racked up numerous honors in high school, including the Club Med Academies Student Athlete of the Year award in 2017, the Ben Hogan Award for good sportsmanship in 2018 and the Payne Stewart Award for overall excellence on and off the golf course in 2019.
The winner of the 2017 South Florida PGA Tour Championship, Cee notched multiple South Florida PGA event wins through 2016-2018. In 2019 Cee earned a second-place finish in a Florida Junior Tour event at Eagle Harbor Golf Club, falling in a playoff for first place.
Cee plans to major in journalism at South Carolina with the goal of pursuing a broadcasting career after her golf career winds down.
