Lois Kaye Go Earns CoSIDA Academic Honor
Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina senior Lois Kaye Go added another academic honor to her list of accomplishments when she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team on Thursday.
“Lois has always dedicated herself fully in both the classroom and on the course,” head coach Kalen Anderson said. “To see her honored with Academic All-District honors two years in a row is a testament to her work and dedication and I’m incredibly proud of her.”
Go appeared on both the CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America teams last year. She holds a 4.0 grade point average in accounting and finance, as well as one of the most decorated athletic careers in Gamecocks golf history. Earlier this week Go was named the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row, and she earned Golfweek All-America honors for the third consecutive season, tying the record for most honors in program history.
The senior plans to return for a final season with the Gamecocks after the 2019-20 season ended abruptly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
